First of all check if the plug is properly seated in the socket. Do not use adapters or extensions cords. Secondly, check if the main switch is on.
If the kettle is still not working, unplug the kettle and let the kettle cool down completely before starting a new cooking cycle. Make sure your cable and plug is completely dry before plugging it in. Always disconnect the plug from the power outlet before moving, cleaning or emptying.
